Your hands are busy
A colour appointment runs long. Three new messages arrive. By the time you reply, the client may have moved on.
Meet the planned Claude-powered AI receptionist for independent salons. A calmer way to keep up with messages, appointments, and the little follow-ups that make clients feel looked after.
In development. The experience below is illustrative, and no product access is available today.
When you are serving clients, managing the diary can become a second full-time job. SalonShift is being designed to ease that pressure without taking the human touch out of your salon.
A colour appointment runs long. Three new messages arrive. By the time you reply, the client may have moved on.
A question about prices or tomorrow's availability can come in after you've locked up for the day.
Confirmations, reminders, and the gentle nudge to rebook are easy to miss between clients.
These are the capabilities we are planning. They are not available yet.
The planned receptionist will understand everyday appointment requests, check availability, and help book, move, or cancel a visit. It will answer questions from your salon's services, prices, hours, and stylists.
Planned confirmations and reminder sequences aim to help clients remember their visits. The current design includes reminders 72 hours, 24 hours, and 2 hours beforehand.
The future retention flow will identify inactive clients and support thoughtful rebooking messages, with manual or scheduled outreach planned.
Relevant add-ons could be suggested from the service requested and a client's history, in a respectful tone that leaves the decision with them.
The planned experience brings together each client's conversation history, visits, preferences, and notes so replies can stay consistent. Claude would reason and use tools; SalonShift's application storage would provide the persistent history.
A client asks in plain language. The planned receptionist checks the salon's availability, offers a couple of times, and could send a confirmation once a time is chosen.
All names, messages, times, and availability shown are sample content. This is a static marketing example, not a live chat or booking system.
From your salon details to the next visit, we're planning one connected path through the small moments that fill a working day.
Add services, prices, working hours, and stylists. We have an onboarding goal of under 15 minutes; it has not been tested.
The initial plan is web chat on your site or WhatsApp Business messaging.
It checks availability, handles the appointment request, and answers common questions.
The system is planned to send a confirmation and timely reminders by email or SMS.
Review today's appointments, client notes, and activity in the planned owner dashboard.
Thoughtful retention outreach could invite clients to arrange their next visit.
We are shaping the first version around the tools and decisions independent salons actually use.
Website chat or an embedded widget, and WhatsApp Business messaging.
Google Calendar or a simple internal availability calendar, with email or SMS confirmations and reminders planned.
Instagram DMs and potential integrations with Fresha, Vagaro, and Square may be explored. No integration or partnership is in place or promised.
Illustrative owner dashboard · sample names and figures. No dashboard is available today.
We want the price to make sense for a small team, whether you're a solo stylist or running a few chairs.
Pricing under consideration. It may change before launch; plans, billing terms, and included features are not final.

No. SalonShift is in development, and early access is not available yet. This site shares the current product direction.
Independent hair salons, nail salons, spas, and small medspas, especially teams of around one to six chairs. For medspas, the scope is administrative reception only, not medical diagnosis or treatment advice.
The plan covers common questions, appointment booking and changes, confirmations and reminders, rebooking outreach, and relevant service add-ons. These are intended capabilities, not live features or guaranteed outcomes.
Web chat or an embedded website widget, plus WhatsApp Business messaging. Instagram DMs may be explored later. Phone handling is not part of the initial plan.
That's the plan. Claude from Anthropic would provide reasoning and tool use. SalonShift's application storage would hold persistent client history; the Claude API does not automatically remember clients between conversations.
The intended dashboard includes controls to turn agents on or off. Planned retention outreach includes manual or scheduled options. The exact controls are still being designed.
We're considering approximately $49–$99 per month. This is indicative pricing only and may change before launch. No plans or billing terms are final.
Both are expressions of interest. A demo request is interest in a future preview, not a scheduled demonstration or promise of access. The form states whether submissions are connected; when they are not, it cannot register your details.
